Anycon also coordinates multilingual projects in partnership with native language professionals and international agencies.

The use of powerful and advanced CAT (Computer Aided Translation) software tools – such as SDL STUDIO 2017, Transit NXT and Passolo – allows to optimize the translation process providing the highest levels of productivity and quality, with lower prices than average.

The specific focus on last translation techniques is the key for traditional and advanced  services, such as:

  • Transcreation – Not a simple translation but a complete rewriting to adapt a message from one language to another, while maintaining its intent, style, tone, and context. Transcreation transcends the boundaries of culture and language , ensuring  a translation suitable for the target local market.
  • Machine translation (MT) – MT performs substitution of words in one natural language for words in another and a customization by domain, improving output by limiting the scope of allowable substitutions. This task is helped by an accurate pre-editing or disambiguation process and specific software tools.
  • Machine-aided human translation (MAHT) – translation is performed manually with the support of specific tools
  • Machine translation post-editing – is the process of improving a machine-generated translation with a minimum of manual labour
  • Termbases  – A termbase offers the maximum level of consistency. The same term (i.e. a technical definition) can be translated consistently  in the same manner throughout all the project
  • Translation memories (TM) – TMs avoids to translate the same sentence two times: this allows to improve quality, consistency, and productivity
  • Software localizationThis process allows to overcome cultural barriers for software products and user interfaces to reach a much larger target audience.
  • Proofreading – is the reading of a copy of a publication to detect and correct production errors and improve terminology and style consistency and accuracy before final publication.
  • Revision- revisers examine the translation output for any errors and other issues, and its suitability for purpose. This includes comparing source and target versions.
  •  Review – an optional step, designed to assess the suitability of the translation output for the agreed purpose and domain, and recommend corrective measures.
